Cargill Kitchen Solutions, formerly Sunny Fresh Foods, is honored to be the only food company to twice receive the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for business performance excellence. We’ve grown since we first received the award in 1999, but today our 800 employee stakeholders still embrace the principles behind the Baldrige-based Cargill Business Excellence Process. It drove our business then, and it continues to drive us to higher levels of excellence today.

We would like to thank the more than 400 examiners who devote thousands of hours of time evaluating U.S. organizations. While hundreds of organizations have submitted applications since Congress founded the award in 1987, fewer than 80 applicants have been judged to be outstanding in the seven criteria areas. Cargill Kitchen Solutions is thrilled to be among just a handful enjoying such recognition a second time.
